Description

Boarden high-energy SMD varistor, CMS (Ceramic Micro-Surge), is manufactured using multi-layer technology. It features compact size, strong surge absorption, low clamping voltage, and high-temperature stability. It is particularly suitable for applications where space is limited and working conditions are harsh (such as high temperature and high humidity). Boarden’s CMS series comes in a complete range (varistor voltage: 14~560V, surge current up to 5kA), meeting the needs of most DC and AC power port surge protections.

Product Features:

• Small size, SMD type

• Low clamping voltage

• No temperature derating up to 125°C ambient

• High surge handling capability

• Long life under repetitive surges

• Reliability under high temperature

• Failure without fire

Storage Conditions:

•Storage temperature range (packaging conditions): -10℃ to +40℃, RH 70% (Max).

•The solderability of the external electrode may deteriorate if packages are stored in high humidity. Packages must be stored at temperatures of 40℃ or lower and 70% RH or lower.

•The solderability of the external electrode may deteriorate if packages are stored in environments with dust or harmful gases (e.g., HCl, sulfurous gases like H2S).

•Packaging material may deform if stored in environments exposed to direct sunlight and high heat.

•Solderability is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of delivery, provided they are stored in the environment specified in Clause 2. Parts stored for more than 12 months should have their solderability checked before use.
